I lived at McKinnon at the time and the railway station was from where I ventured forth on many a memorable journey, and to which I returned, tired, dishevelled, usually starving but always glad to be back at “my station”. I got to know the staff fairly well, and spent many pleasant evenings getting acquainted with “Double Line Block”.

This picture was accidental, but it’s the only one I’ve got of the inside of a Tait Carriage.
