16-1. K187. Corio. It seems that this K-class was a regular shunter here. Another picture taken 9 months later shows the same engine shunting in almost the same location. See Roll 30-7 & 8.

16-6. K186. Timboon Junction-Timboon. Taking pictures as close as this to a hot and steamy, running engine is not recommended. I didn’t do it again.
16-7. K186. Timboon Junction-Timboon. I remember running to take a nice clear shot of the engine but tripped on the scrub and fell in my haste. Undeterred, I snapped this photo to begin a whole new unintended interest in trackside vegetation.
